The Brave Raiders / The Braves Athletic Club is a non-profit organization operating solely by volunteers under the NorthEast Zone Sports Council and Edmonton Minor Hockey Association. The Braves Athletic Club and the Raiders Hockey Club amalgamated in 2002, the Brave Raiders operates minor hockey programs for young hockey players aged 4 to 13, from the Initiation level through to Bantam. Brave Raider Midget players play under the NorthEast Zone banner.

The Brave Raiders area consists of the communities located north of the Yellowhead and east of 50th street, including Bannerman, Fraser, Evergreen, South Clareview, Homesteader, Hairsine, Horsehill, Brintnell, and Quary Ridge.

The Brave Raiders executive committee consists of 22 volunteer positions. Elections / appointments are held at an Annual General Meeting held in June of each year. Sub-committees are formed as required to handle special projects such as discipline and evaluations.
